I can't believe I was ever intimidated by...

                     I can't believe I was ever intimidated by college.  The day before my  first classes I was scared to death.  I didn't know why I was so scared because my brother and sister who has been in college told me that it's not too bad.  I even passed high school with mostly all A's.  I guess I am one of those people who gets nervous when I am starting something new that I have never done before.  I was scared that if I failed then I have no future.  Now it's almost half way through the semester and I am doing alright.  I could be doing a lot better.  The only thing that I am intimdated by now is keeping a 3.0 for life scholorship.  Before I was intimidated by finding my classes and being on my own.  It has definitely been stress for my first semester, but I shouldn't have been intimidated.  As long as I work and study hard, then it should be pretty easy.

Golf

             One of my favorite things to do is golf.  I have grown up playing golf with my dad and brother my whole life.  My brother and I have always competed against each other in every sport we did.  Golf was the sport that I always came closest to beating him in.  For me golf is a relaxing sport that calms me down and makes me feel better.  I love being able to get away from everything and play in a beautiful and quiet environment. 
             I also played for my high school which was the best two years of my life.  Everyday after school I got to play free golf for practice.  Then we got to play at really nice courses for our matches.  While I played in high school I decent at golf, but after I graduated i got a lot better.  Over the summer I got a job at a golf course.  They let me play free so I try to play as much as possible. This week I finally reached my goal of breaking 80 and shot a 76.  Now it is time to set a new goal!

Packer Games

           NFL Sunday has finally arrived!  The NFL season is my favorite time of the year because of the Green Bay Packers.  During the football season my family sits down and watches the Packers.  My dad grew up in Green Bay and we also lived there as a family for three years.  I guess thats partly why I am a huge Packer fan.  I have not missed a Packer game since I was about eight years old.  I am probably the biggest Packer fan there is and I talk about them all the time.
           I am so pumped for tonight because the Packers get the honor of kicking off the season againt the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football.  I'm also excited about the fact that they just came off of winning the Super Bowl and have to put together another great team.  Many experts are predicting them to go back to the Super Bowl and win.  Tonight will be a great matchup because the Saints are also a great team that have been Super Bowl contenders including winning it two years ago.  No matter what happens this year I will always be a die hard Packer fan.
